enJOY Cookies was born from the legacy of Grandma Brenda “Joy” Wise, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, who had a remarkable talent for creating delicious meals that brought loved ones together. When she was in the kitchen, it was not just about feeding the family; it was a powerful moment that strengthened family bonds and created lasting memories.
Inspired by her grandmother’s warmth and resilience, Danya, lovingly nicknamed “Joy” by Grandma herself, learned early that great food can spark real joy. What began as a college side hustle, selling cookies and meals to fellow students, evolved into a mission: to share that same feeling of joy with the world, one chewy cookie at a time.
In December 2024, a conversation with a good friend sparked a new chapter in Danya's culinary journey and set in motion a series of events that would lead to the creation of enJOY Cookies. Inspired by this nostalgic request, Danya embarked on a baking frenzy, crafting and delivering dozens of cookies to friends and family nearby. With each batch of cookies she baked, Danya channeled the warmth and love that Grandma Joy had always infused into her cooking, striving to incorporate that same spirit into every enJOY Cookie.
